My EVE book was very much like the Dungeon masters EVE ISK guide I have for playing D&D that's packed full of useful tables as well - can't believe I used to work out the proportional damage from a fall and multiply it by a dice roll. |

One of the things that makes the EVE ISK game difficult is the fact that you can go anywhere in the world and do anything you want to but this does leave it somewhat open ended and you can find yourself running about without getting their much needed XP! |

The Salvaging skill-book costs 900.000 EVE ISK, not an insignificant sum for a beginner. Don't worry though, you will make it up very quickly. Though some salvaged items sell for a few hundred or less EVE ISK, you will very often find items that sell for 80,000+ EVE ISK each. A cargo-full of salvaged items can easily fetch several million ISK at a time. Or more! |
